so unabashedly excited for this season!! 




I definitely think my love~ for this show comes from the fact that it (mostly) cuts out the second-hand embarrassment aspect that American Idol really popularized... but then again I was never actually got into AI (totally saw From Justin to Kelly in theaters, though)(also watched most of the season with Crystal Bowersox and Lee Dewyze, but that was just because it was during college apps season and I needed something mind numbing).

But this show is the gr8est! banter! and talented singers! and banter (seriously, I'm the biggest sucker for that kind of thing)! So I kind of need this to be a thing on the internet because I'm pretty sure my real life friends will disown me if I try talking about it, and that would be unfortunate.
